Lost for Words: Takeoff of the Migos Dead at just 28 Years Old 

The shooting took place at a bowling alley, where a private party was taking place. It was confirmed by police that Takeoff and Quavo were in attendance.  

According to click2houston.com, Houston Police Department and emergency officials with the Houston Fire Department responded to reports of a shooting at 810 Billiards & Bowling, located at 1201 San Jacinto, around 2:40 a.m. 

When officers arrived at the scene, there was a large crowd and a man with a gunshot wound to the head or neck.  That man was pronounced dead on the scene. It was confirmed by a representative for the Migos, that the victim was Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball. 

According to TMZ, Quavo and Takeoff were playing dice, when an altercation took place, and that’s when someone started to open fire. Investigators at the scene said they found multiple shell casings on the third level outside the bowling and pool hall. Two other victims were taken to nearby hospitals in private vehicles in unknown condition, according to Houston police.  

Quavo and Takeoff recently have been on a press run to promote their new album “Only Built for Infinity Links.” No official statement other than confirming his death has been released by Takeoff’s people. He was only 28 years old. We want to give our condolences to the family and friends of the young brother.
