A great haircut is one way, and that’s something Los Angeles-based barber JayR Mallari understands better than most. The personal barber to guys like Steph Curry and DeAndre Jordan, JayR got his start in elementary school doing $5 line-ups for his friends so he could afford to buy sneakers (his parents would only get him one pair a year; he wanted more options).
After sharpening his skills is his garage, JayR made the leap to Legends barbershop on Fairfax—and, eventually, the homes of NBA stars.
