TMZ Sports reports that the Ft. Lauderdale police found no compelling evidence that the NFL Hall of Famer committed the act he was accused of by a 27-year old woman during a March 21 hotel room incident.
“The Irvin case has been closed out for lack of evidence and no likelihood of conviction,” Ron Ishoy at the Broward State Attorney’s Office told TMZ Sports.
Irvin was adamant from the outset that he had done nothing wrong. He will hold a press conference on Monday afternoon.
