The lack of healthcare is a big issue in our country, especially in the Black community. This fact wasn’t lost on rapper Rick Ross when he recently contributed to Fayette C.A.R.E Clinic in Fayetteville, Ga.

Local Atlanta news station Channel 2 News reported that Rozay personally delivered a check to the Fayette C.A.R.E Clinic to help keep its doors open. The $30,000 dollar check helped the clinic reach its goal of $50,000 dollars.

The self-proclaimed “biggest boss” stated one of the reasons he helped was due in part to losing his dad at a young age.

“A clinic like this means a lot to me. I lost my father at an early age and felt like one of the reasons I lost him so early was his lack of healthcare,” Ross stated.

“I look forward to continuing to help out as much as possible. I consider you family, friends, and neighbors,” he added.

Salute to Rick Ross
