And that’s when it hit me. Yo might be on to something, but only one little thing.
Relationships can be infinitely tough, and the one thing I’ve learned is poor communication is the easiest way to fail. My initial thought was Yo was poor communication packaged in a kindergarten-style app and I needed to give Yo more meaning. It is, basically, a very easy-to-use beeper, at the end of the day.
But overanalyzing Yo is no way to Yo. A Yo should just be a Yo and nothing more. But we humans have the need to give things meaning, to read into every little moment and to wonder what’s below the surface. The depths of Yo misinterpretation are infinite unless you tell yourself that Yo’ing is the most shallow form of app communication available on today’s market.
